Norman Selfe (1839–1911)
Abstract
Norman Selfe was an engineer, naval architect, inventor, urban visionary and controversial advocate of technical education. Selfe's strenuous efforts in a number of causes went unrewarded during his life, but formed the basis of innovations later realised.
