dc.description.abstract This paper describes the development of a computer-based music visualisation to support the development of instrumental musical skills in advanced students and professional players. The underlying pedagogical philosophy, based on the "Natural Learning Process" and the emergence of an artistic rather than engineering approach to software development, based on participatory design, are described. en_US
