A System for Solving Fuzzy Linear Programming Problems by Multi-Objective Linear Programming

Abstract

An algorithm for solving fuzzy linear programming (FLP) problems is presented in this paper based on previous research. With the algorithm, an application system is developed. The paper first reviews the theory about the relationship between the solutions of a FLP problem and its associated multi-objective linear programming (MOLP) problem. An architecture and flowchart of the system is then presented. Finally, the solution of a FLP problem is given as an example to show the way of solving a FLP problem by converting it into a MOLP problem.
