Method Engineering; The Open Process Framework and Cassiopeia

Abstract

Cassiopeia adopts an organization-oriented approach to multi agent systems design. To support the concepts in Cassiopeia using an existing process framework (the OPEN Process Framework or OPF), we identify two new Tasks, together with two new subtasks for a pre-existing Task and one additional Work Product, that need to be added to the existing OPF repository. Using method engineering it then becomes possible to generate a tailored agent oriented methodology from this suite of process components.
