Hirsutodontus daleki: a new Ordovician conodont species from the wiseman's Arm Foundation, eastern Australia

Abstract

A conodont fauna from an Eastonian limestone block in the Wisemans Arm Formation east of Manilla in northern New South Wales includes twenty specimens of a new species of Hirsutodontus MILLER, herein named H. daleki. Previously the youngest known species of this genus was H. lenaensis ABAIMOVA 1971 from Arenig rocks of the Lena region in eastern Russia
