Abstract:
Flowcharts have been used for helping the programmers to
write, analyze and maintain programs. Several systems for
displaying flowcharts on the computer screen have been developed.
However, there is little research on structural modeling
of flowcharts, automatic flowchart layout and effective
flowchart management. This paper presents an approach to
structural modeling of flowcharts, which supports the design
of visual flowchart components, construction and automatic
layout of the flowchart components.
