dc.description.abstract The MATH taxonomy is designed to help teachers plan assessment to test a range of skills and concepts. The communication aspects of mathematics and multiple representations are included. This paper describes the analysis of a pre-test and post-test given to 172 senior secondary students studying a new subject. General Mathematics for the NSW Higher School Certificate.
