Religious behaviours: a study of Greek Orthodox high school pupils in Australia

Abstract

This study examined aspects of religion amongst Greek-Australian high school pupils from Greek Orthodox schools (N=279). Pupils in years 7, 8,and 9 were administered a religious knowledge test and general information survey. Interest in the subject was not related to performance in the religious knowledge test, and a significant proportion of these pupils considered themselves moderately or very religious.
