Abstract:
Video image compression is the hot topic of image compression and coding. Many useful results of bivariable
functions have been obtained by studying the bivariable fractal space, A Video image compression algorithm based on
bivariable fractal function has been proposed. a intracompression fractal method based on bivariable fractal space is
proposed, fractal coding method is adopted in the image layer, the IFS codes recorded are the coefficients when the affine
transforms are indicated by the base of the bivariable fractal space, a much higher compression ratio is obtained; In the
intercompression, a new cost function between various objects of image layer is given, motion detection and matching
son-block and father-block are adopted, but the father-block is not searched in the same frame. The reliable result is available.
