Abstract:
Assessing a situation requires integrating
many pieces of information which can be obtained from
multiple data sources with multiple time slots. Situation
assessors' experience and preference will directly
influence the integration result, and therefore the
awareness for the situation. The study focuses on how
multi-source multi-attribute situation information is
integrated and how a situation's awareness information is
derived by learning assessors' previous success assessment
results. A learning based information integration
approach is developed in this study by using fuzzy least
squares support vector machine to automatically assess a
situation.
