Abstract:
The book is a selection of recent prefaces and poems of a well-known scholar Feng Chongyi. It demonstrates a perfect combination of Western thinking with Eastern feelings of this expert of modern Chinese history. The prefaces contribute unique insights on hot topics in contemporary China, while the traditional poems reveal the connection between personal feelings and the times, as well as profound accomplishment of the author in traditional Chinese culture.
