Abstract:
Accurately locating edge points is important for image
measurement. This paper describes an edge detection
method based on back-propagation algorithm of neural
networks. A three-layer structure of artificial neural
network and a learning algorithm are given in detail.
Through training and amendment, the weight values are
determined finally, and some factors that may have
influenced on system are discussed.
