dc.description.abstract en_US
dc.description.abstract In this chapter we explore, both theoretica lly and empirically, how the relationship between political systems and corporate governance practices can be used to progress corporate sustainability. We argue that corporate sustainabil ity is facili tated by ' total responsibility management ' , as outlined by Waddock et al. (2002). Waddock et al. 2002 argue that corporate sustainability requires internal corporate governance to move beyond compliance to the holistic approach of 'total responsibil ity management' . en_US
