Public Communication Review
Public Communication Review is a peer-reviewed e-journal published by the Australian Centre for Public Communication at the University of Technology Sydney. The journal publishes scholarly articles, high standard professional practice papers, and case studies in its ‘Speaking Practically’ section which deal with topical issues in relation to advertising, media, organisational communication and public relations in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Articles are invited on academic and industry research, technological developments, innovations and new developments in public communication practices. In particular, PCR focuses on the integration of theory and practice and welcomes articles which deductively interpret how theories inform applied Best Practice in public communication, or which inductively analyse empirical research and contemporary practices and how they inform public communication theory. In addition, articles that reflect particular themes announced for some editions are invited.

Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to Public Communication Review are reviewed by two independent peer referees who are qualified experts in the subject field. Authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Reviewers' recommendations are taken into consideration by the editors in determining publication and revisions.
Publication Frequency
Public Communication Review publishes at least one volume per year. Journal items are published collectively, as part of an issue with its own table of contents. Special issues of the journal are also published. These are compiled by guest editors by arrangement.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides open access to all of it content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work. For more information on this approach, see the Public Knowledge Project, which has designed this system to improve the scholarly and public quality of research, and which freely distributes the journal system as well as other software to support the open access publishing of scholarly resources.
