AJICT's new location is: http://www.iqproceedings.org/ojs/ African Journal of Information and Communication Technology invites the submission of technical papers on topics within the scope of the AJICT. As a Journal which informs a wide audience of varying competence and exposure to advanced technical content, authors should particularly pay attention to clarity of presentation and ease of reading. Manuscripts that lack these features will be returned to the author(s) for further attention and could delay their review and subsequent publication. Manuscripts should contain the name, address, phone, fax and e-mail address of all the authors. Attention and care should be given to the organization of the materials so that the contributions are logically ordered with a consistent progression of thought so that the contents of the paper can be understood easily. Equations should be numbered serially. Proofs, calculations and derivation that could derail the flow of thought and reading should be placed in Appendices. Manuscripts should report not only original theoretical and/or experimental work but also easy to follow reviews and tutorial expositions of current industrial and professional relevance. Papers which have been published elsewhere and/or copyrighted or accepted for publication elsewhere will not be considered for publication in the AJICT. Where necessary, exceptions to this rule will be made if and when a particular manuscript is deemed to have only appeared in conference proceedings, Abstracts only or have had only limited distribution. Authors of such manuscripts must report this at the point of submission of their manuscript to AJICT for review. Papers submitted to AJICT are reviewed by international competent reviewers and will be accepted only on their merits, novelty, usefulness and significance to the AJICT. Figures and Tables must be used sparingly. Papers must have at most a total of twelve figures and tables. Submitted manuscripts exceeding these guidelines will be returned to the authors for further editing and could delay their review. Manuscripts to be submitted for review should be written and formatted double columns and single-spaced with 10 point font (approximately 55 lines per page with 16.5 cm. line length) excluding figures. Manuscripts should be limited to not more than 22 (A4) single-spaced pages and should include an abstract of between 50 to 200 words outlining the scope and contribution to the area covered. A list of not more than 6 keywords should follow the abstract. All figures and tables must have individual titles and appear where they fit most into the text material to which they refer. Authors should use the IEEE Transactions on Communications" referencing format. Where the authors are unable to access this referencing format, they should contact the editorial board of AJICT for a copy. Manuscripts submitted for review should be submitted online as Portable Document Format (pdf) or Rich Text format. Manuscripts in Microsoft Word (*.doc) format will not be accepted. All papers submitted to the AJICT are checked for compliance before being sent for review.
